Louet drop spindle kit

A fantastic beginner spinning kit that gives very detailed, down to earth, and easy to understand instructions, providing a great base of knowledge on which to build your spinning technique. Of couse, Knitgrrl Studio recommend's Shannon's book Spin to Knit if you are looking for a more comprehensive spinning resource...other books we recommend include Start Spinning by Maggie Casey, Spin Control by Amy King, and the forthcoming Respect the Spindle by Abby Franquemont.

The kit includes a 1/2lb of fiber (dyed or natural, please specify -- the natural fiber kit contains 3 shades of Coopworth fiber, which is a joy to spin!), plus instructions from Louet, a drop spindle, and a sample of SOAK Wash.

All Knitgrrl Studio spindles come with either one brief get-started session (if you are local) or a limited number of questions answered via email if you can't find a local teacher.
