Louet Victoria spinning wheel

The Victoria is not like your everyday spinning wheel. It’s light, portable and incredibly easy to use. The Victoria has been designed with precision and care for today's handspinner. Available in Classic Oak or Contemporary Beech. (Oak is $20 additional; please ask for details)

The Victoria weighs only 6 lbs, making it light enough to go anywhere, has ratios of 1:6, 1:8.5 and 1:13 and an optional High Speed Set which provides an extra 1:19 ratio. It easily folds in half, making it very portable, and the scotch tension brake system gives you an unlimited range of tension.

All Knitgrrl Studio-sold wheels come with 1/2 lb of spinning fiber to get you started. We recommend Shannon's book Spin to Knit if you need a reference book or ideas for what to make from your beautiful new handspun yarn!

Shannon fell in love with Louet wheels when teaching their sales reps how to spin -- this is the Louet wheel she uses. Its carrying case includes backpack straps, perfect if you bike or take the train. Shannon recommends this wheel very highly for spinners without a lot of space.
